Bunker and floodwater works in 'The hole'

Just acquired said film on DVD and wondering where it was all lensed?

Was the bunker a set, or the real deal?

And that scene near some floodworks looked good...

Any ideas of the locale?

The bunker was a set and the school was Downside School near Radstock, Bath.

I think that scene was shot somewhere to the west of London - possibly
on the Thames near Reading. It's been a long time and I can't
remember the details :-)

Also just remembered that the main filming period was on set at Bray
Studios, just a few miles west of Windsor on the banks of the Thames.
The bunker was constructed on set.

I think the exterior shots of the bunker and the river shots were
filmed near Bray.
